Police are looking for a man who robbed a Johns Creek bank Thursday afternoon.

Around 1:50 p.m., a black man with a short beard, sunglasses, a yellow plastic raincoat and a white hard had, walked into the Bank of America at 10950 Jones Bridge Road, authorities said.

The man demanded money from a teller, and fled after receiving an unspecified amount of cash, police said.

Investigators believe the man drove away in a four-door sedan, possibly a Mitsubishi Mirage, going west on State Bridge Road, police spokeswoman Rosemary Taylor said.

Police are asking anyone with information about this robbery to contact Det. B.K. Lyles at 678-474-1597.

The investigation is ongoing.
