The Hapeville City Council will consider an agreement to build a playground in Master Park during its meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hapeville City Hall, 700 Doug Davis Drive.

The agreement is with KaBoom! Inc., which gave the city a $8,500 grant to design and build the playground in partnership with Target Inc. The city hopes to match the grant and schedule building the playground in October.

The council will also discuss passing an ordinance for a storm water utility fee to manage and control runoff from storm water. If passed, the fee, proposed to be set at $3.50 per month, would finance the construction, operation and maintenance of Hapeville’s storm water facilities. If approved, The first bill for storm water will be sent out in a stand-alone bill in January.
