Hapeville Public Works Department will be making improvements to the Dogwood Drive corridor throughout the month of April. The work to be done includes adding new drainage systems, sidewalks, paving and lighting. The survey layout of the improvement plans have begun and should be completed by the end of the month, weather permitting.

According to the plan, sawcutting and erosion control will take place the first two weeks of April. Removal of old lighting and installation of new may begin on or around April 17. Motorists and pedestrians are cautioned to avoid the area and seek alternative routes of travel.
