The Hapeville Historic District will hold a meeting Thursday to talk about state and federal tax credits and grant programs available to properties inside the district.

The open house will also talk about eligibility requirements and application procedures for the district.

The city is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in honor of its role in the transportation industry. Incentive programs for properties in the listing have been catalysts for revitalization of historic areas throughout the country.

The Hapeville meeting begins at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Hapeville Municipal Court, 700 Doug Davis Dr. It is free and open to the public.
