The Hapeville City Council will consider a bidding process to buy a ladder truck for the fire department during its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hapeville City Hall, 700 Doug Davis Drive.

The city will use this process to secure a vehicle without exceeding the budget of $90,000. Another item the council will consider is an amendment to the city’s alcohol code, addressing concerns about businesses operating with microbreweries, a growing industry in the state.

The council will also discuss the need for purchasing computer equipment and creating a second development authority to achieve the city’s economic development goals and objectives.
