In celebration of the annual Georgia Cities Week, the city of Hapeville is hosting a Citywide Community Clean Up initiative April 24 – April 28. This initiative will be held in conjunction with the city’s annual Clean Sweep event which is held once a year to assist residents in their spring cleaning.

The city will aide residents in disposing of unwanted items that are usually not picked up. Residents will be allowed to put these items out at the street for pickup without a charge. In addition, the city is encouraging residents and businesses to assist in litter clean ups within the community.
