Hall County teen dies in ATV accident
An ATV accident left a Hall County high school student dead, school officials told Gainesville Times.
Luke Martin, 16, died in the crash in Grady County near the Florida-Georgia border Sunday night. Martin was a rising junior at Chestatee High School in Gainesville.
Martin was driving a 2010 Honda Rancher on Pierce Chapel Road when the ATV left the road and slid into a ditch, according to Georgia State Patrol.
Martin’s eighth-grade brother, Tyler Martin, was also injured in the crash. He was taken to Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville for treatment after the accident.
