Hall County inmate found dead identified

An inmate who died at the Hall County Jail has been identified as 29-year-old Nathaniel Joel Whited of Flowery Branch.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office says Whited was found unresponsive in his cell in the medical section of the jail.

Whited has been in the jail since February 2010 and was recently sentenced to five years in prison for child molestation.

The sheriff's office says te inmate suffered from several chronic medical conditions and was recently moved to the medical wing.

No cause of death has been released.
