Atlanta Habitat for Humanity  has named a new vice president of operations.

Dan Maddox will join the Atlanta affiliate from Georgia-Pacific, where he served as vice president GP Harmon International, India Office and Rolls Division.

His new position at Habitat begins Feb. 27.

He served on the board of directors at Atlanta Habitat as both treasure and chairman. His focus will be in family services, site planning and design, construction, warehouse and ReStore.
