Gwinnett trash pickup rescheduled for holiday

Gwinnett County trash and recycling collection will be affected by the Thanksgiving holiday. Pickups scheduled for Thursday will be rescheduled for Friday, and Friday pickups will be rescheduled for Saturday. Only Thursday and Friday pickups will be affected.

In addition, Gwinnett County offices will be closed Thursday and Friday for the holiday. County offices will resume regular business hours on Monday.

As the march took off toward Liberty Plaza around 1 p.m., officers on motorcycles began blocking traffic along Ralph McGill Boulevard and Courtland Street.
