A Gwinnett County tax preparer’s office caught fire Tuesday morning, according to fire officials.

The building on the 3100 block of Lawrenceville Highway was locked and unoccupied when it began to burn. A neighbor reported the fire shortly after 10 a.m.

Firefighters had to force their way into the locked Lawrenceville building and extinguished a small fire in the attic. Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services suspects the fire to be an accident, likely caused by an electrical source.
