Payments can be made on the website via e-check with no added fees. Debit card payments come with a flat $3.95 fee and credit cards are charged a fee amounting to 2.25% of the tax bill. Taxpayers can also mail checks to P.O. Box 372, Lawrenceville, Georgia, 30046 or drop the check off in an envelope at any tag office in the county, where 24/7 drop boxes are available. Payments are due Oct. 15.

Property owners who wish to only deal with their tax bill online can arrange for paperless billing at GwinnettTaxCommissioner.com/paperless.

Tax information is available to mortgage companies for property owners with escrow accounts, but those property owners should still ensure the taxes are paid, the county said in a press release.
