Gwinnett County will sponsor a “9/11 Days of Service” recycling event from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 10 at Rhodes Jordan Park, 100 East Crogan Street, Lawrenceville.

Volunteers will paint a mural and install landscaping at the community recreation center. Residents can bring electronics, tires and paper for recycling. Paper shredding is $5 per box. Electronics recycling is free, but there is a $10 charge for televisions. Tire recycling also is free, but there is a limit of eight per vehicle.
