It is unclear what may have caused a Gwinnett County sinkhole Wednesday.

The sinkhole opened up in the parking lot of the Georgia Diner on Pleasant Hill, according to WSB-TV.

The hole, which is reported to be 20 feet deep, could possibly get worse due to the rains expected to hit the metro area later this week.

Who will fix it has not yet been determined, WSB reports.

The county estimates costs could be as much as $500,000.
