Gwinnett commissioners approved the renewal of an annual contract Oct. 20 to provide supervision, labor, equipment and materials necessary to repair or replace different types of fencing at various facilities around the county.

The contract falls under the Department of Water Resources and is approved for $70,000 with Chapman Fence Company, Inc. and Elite Fence Company LLC.

The county’s analysis suggests the pricing has increased, but the contractors agreed to hold their pricing firm rather than exercise their proposed increases for this contract period ending Dec. 2016.
