A $2M Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank grant from the State Road and Tollway Authority will assist GDOT in the widening of Spalding Drive in Peachtree Corners. The project will increase Spalding Drive to four lanes with a fifth lane for turning at intersections from Holcomb Bridge Road to Winters Chapel Road.

Additional funding for the $11.5 million project will come from SPLOST funds with the county and city both contributing. The state will cover 17.4 percent of the cost, with local funding totaling $9.5 million will complete the project.

In addition to the additional lanes, sidewalks will be installed along Spalding Drive and the bridge over Crooked Creek will be replaced.
