Gwinnett to purchase new pavement striping equipment

Gwinnett Commissioners agreed on Dec. 15 to a request by the Gwinnett Department of Transportation for the purchase of one truck mounted paint striping apparatus to be used in asphalt paving and rehabilitation operations.

The $296,106 equipment will be purchased from the highest scoring bidder, M-B Companies Inc. This purchase will replace existing 14-year old equipment that is no longer useful.
