Gwinnett police offering gang awareness and education seminar

The Gwinnett County Police Department will hold a free gang awareness and education seminar 1 to 4 p.m. June 12 at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center auditorium, 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville.

Officer Marco Silva will present information to help participants learn how to identify colors, markings, and issues in the community related to gang behavior. Attendees will learn how and when to report suspicious gang activity and how to avoid unintended interaction with such groups.
