Gwinnett County police have identified the man found shot to death at an apartment complex near Norcross Monday morning.

Police said the victim, Timothy Lance Kemp, 46, was a resident at the Harbin Springs apartments at Twin Springs Trail, where his body was found by a maintenance worker early Monday morning.

The maintenance worker found Kemp's body in a grassy area behind building 100 at the complex before 10 a.m., according to Gwinnett police Cpl. Edwin Ritter.

Ritter said Kemp died from an apparent gunshot wound.
