The Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District has announced that it will increase security forces throughout the area in time for the holiday shopping season.

The CID said they will send out more uniformed officers to monitor retail centers, high-traffic areas and other Gwinnett Place businesses. The officers will use vehicles bearing CID markings while patrolling the area.

The added patrols will last through the final six weeks of 2011.
