Gwinnett County deputies made several arrests and discovered two drug operations leading to drugs and weapons seizures as part of a warrant sweep Tuesday.

In one incident, deputies discovered a grow house operation in the 1300 block of Arlene Court in Lilburn, said Major Greg Thompson, and seized 2 pounds of marijuana, a .22 caliber handgun, marijuana plants and grow lights. Michale Nicholas and John Nicholas were charged with manufacturing of marijuana. Both remained in custody Wednesday.

In another incident, deputies noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from an apartment in the 1500 block of Ashley Run Court in Norcross while attempting services of other warrants. Officers obtained consent to search the home, Thompson said, and seized a 9 mm TEC DC-9 weapon, marijuana, digital scales, baggies and other distribution materials. Lewis Gray was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a schedule II drug. Keyanna Gray was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Deputies served 50 arrest warrants Tuesday, Thompson said.
