Several deputies with the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Department will be at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center on Friday to collect toys for needy children.

The deputies will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to accept new unwrapped toys or cash. The deputies are donating their time during off-duty hours to help with the cause.

Cash or toy donations also are being accepted at the Gwinnett County jail until Dec. 17. All donations will be turned over to the Atlanta chapter of the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation.
