Can’t wait for funnel cakes and fair rides? The Gwinnett County Fair is almost here, and you can already buy your tickets.

Advance tickets went on sale at Walgreens locations across the county on Aug. 15. They will be available for purchase at the pharmacy stores through Sept. 15, a day after the fair begins.

The annual event is $10 for guests between the ages of 12 and 64, and $5 for people over 65 or between ages 6 and 11. Children aged 5 and under are free with a paying adult.

The fair will feature attractions including beauty pageants, a stunt team and livestock shows, in addition to your favorite rides and games. It runs from Sept. 14 to Sept. 24 at the fairgrounds, 2405 Sugarloaf Pkwy. in Lawrenceville.
