Gwinnett commission approves road projects

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners approved contracts for the widening of Ga. 20 in Sugar Hill and improvements to Club Drive near Gwinnett Place Mall last week.

Commissioners accepted $30 million in state and federal funding for utility relocation and construction as part of a project to widen Ga. 20 from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to the Forsyth County line.

They also awarded a $452,905 contract to Ohmshiv Construction for new sidewalks and curb, gutter and road shoulder improvements along Club Drive from Cruse Road to Club Drive Park.
