Gwinnett city reports spike in thefts from unlocked cars

One Gwinnett city has seen a spike in thefts from unlocked vehicles — and officials are asking for help finding the culprits.

The city of Suwanee posted surveillance photos on its Instagram account Monday morning, saying the police department has seen "an increase in the number of thefts from unlocked vehicles" in the last week or so. Anyone who recognizes the suspects in the photos is asked to ccall 770-904-7632.

During the past week, the Suwanee Police Department has had an increase in the number of thefts from unlocked vehicles. Take a look at these photos of the suspect - if you recognize the person(s) shown, please contact Detective Devereaux at 770-904-7632. The Suwanee PD is asking everyone to do their part by locking your vehicles at night. We also ask that you remove all valuables from your vehicle, or at least store them out of sight. If anyone notices anything suspicious, call 770-945-8995 and report it immediately.
