Gwinnett celebrating love with annual wedding event

The Gwinnett Parks and Recreation along with Chief Magistrate Kristina Hammer Blum and Probate Court Judge Christopher Ballar will help residents celebrate Valentine’s Day with free marriages and vow renewals 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 14 at the historic Isaac Adair House, 15 South Clayton St. in downtown Lawrenceville.

Couples seeking to get married must obtain a valid marriage license prior to the ceremony and bring the original license with them to the event. Information about obtaining a marriage license: Probate Court at 770-822-8350. Couples renewing their wedding vows do not need to bring a copy of their license.

The Isaac Adair House features a bridal room, elevated porch and Grand Garden with a pergola and arbor. The bridal room will not be available during this event.
