Gwinnett Commissioners recently voted to approve a special use permit to allow for a pool/billiards hall in the 1200 block of Rockbridge Road within the Rockbridge Plaza shopping center, part of unincorporated Stone Mountain. The business will occupy Suites H and J, totaling 5,740 square feet of floor area, with 10 pool/billiard tables.

Approval comes with conditions including a requirement for a manager to be on duty during business hours to oversee the operation of the pool tables and business hours will be limited to 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Window signage (signs displayed on the interior or exterior of the business storefront windows) are prohibited, except for open/closed signs or signs required by county, state or federal law. Flashing or blinking signs and exposed neon or LED signs are prohibited. Exposed or visible lighting strips mounted on the building or around window frames are also prohibited.
