Gwinnett Commissioners approved zoning changes Dec. 15 for a single-family subdivision on 13.69 acres on the north side of Bailey Road, just west of Auburn Road in Dacula. The Richardson Housing Group has plans to build 38 homes. The proposed lots would be at least 75 feet in width, with a minimum lot area of 10,500 square feet. Access will be provided from a single entrance street on Bailey Road.

Approval came with conditions including a required minimum heated space of 2,000 square feet for one-story homes, and 2,200 square feet for two-story homes. The homes will be constructed with front facades of primarily brick or stacked stone, or as craftsman-style.

The balance of the home may be the same, or of fiber-cement siding or shake, and all homes will have at least a double-car garage.
