Gwinnett commissioners agreed to a shift in how funds are allocated for work on the intersection at State Route 84/Grayson Parkway at Rosebud Road in Grayson.

The new agreement passed on Feb. 2 allows any excess engineering and right of way funds left over to be allocated toward construction costs.

The 2014 SPLOST program funds this project.

In addition, the county agreed to jointly provide traffic signal enhancements at the intersection. These enhancements will be paid for in part by a contribution from Grayson of $27,000. The county will provide all work associated with the improvements with funds from the 2014 SPLOST program.
