Gwinnett approves contract for widening of Pleasant Hill Road

Nov 23, 2011Pleasant Hill Road will be widened from Buford Highway to the intersection of Howell Ferry Road/MucClure Bridge Road, according to Gwinnett County officials.
The widening will add a third lane and sidewalks in each direction along with a raised median. The project is expected to open to traffic in 2013.
Gwinnett County commissioners last week awarded a $6.6 million contract to C.W. Matthews Contracting Co. Inc. Funding for the project.
