You better be ready to toss those pumpkins by Nov. 5, because that’s when this year’s Christmas tree will be put up in front of the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse.

Gwinnett County puts a tree in front of the courthouse every year for the holiday season, and it’s chosen its specimen for this year. The 28-foot Norway Spruce is being transported from the North Carolina mountains for a Nov. 5 installation in Lawrenceville.

Gwinnett will officially kick off the holiday season on Thanksgiving night with the 32nd annual Lighting of the Tree. The celebration typically features live music and a visit from Santa in addition to the spectacle of the tree lighting.

You can see the tree after Nov. 5 in front of the historic courthouse, located at 185 W. Crogan St. in Lawrenceville.
