Atlanta police found a dead man outside an Old Fourth Ward home Sunday morning.

Homicide investigators shared few details, but did say a man believed to be in his 30s was killed by a single gunshot wound to the chest. The body was discovered Sunday morning outside a home in the 200 block of Sampson Road.

Channel 2 Action News reported the shooting is thought to have occurred at about 3:30 a.m., hours after many Halloween parties in the area wound down.

The man has not been identified.

The investigation will continue Monday.
