Road maintenance crews working with the Georgia Department of Transportation will begin single lane closures along Interstate 85 through Duluth for guardrail maintenance. The closures will take place 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday beginning the week of April 6.
The project is expected to be complete by Dec.
Crews will use the closures to replace existing guardrail anchors on I-85 between mile post 102 south of Steve Reynolds Boulevard and mile post 109 north of Sugarloaf Parkway.
All roadwork is dependent on weather conditions. Drivers are asked to slow down and drive alert through the work zone.
