A policy center at Georgia State University has received more than $9.2 million to improve health care access in rural communities.

The Georgia Health Policy Center within the university's at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies won the three contracts from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The money will supports four grant programs: Delta State Rural Development Network, Rural Health Care Services Outreach, Rural Health Network Development and Rural Health Workforce Development.
