Students in the master's and doctoral programs at Georgia State University's J Mack Robinson College of Business will soon be using iPads to read their textbooks and other course material, officials announced this week.

College officials are piloting the program now with 10 students in the Executive MBA program and plan to roll it out to the premium graduate school degree programs next fall, spokesman Gary McKillips said.

The iPads are loaded with class-related materials and the cost of the device is folded into what students pay for the degree.

Officials said the iPads will make it easier for students to balance work, school and family because they will be able to stay connected with classmates and will have easy access to their assignments.
