Group files new appeal against Walmart in Suburban Plaza

A community group battling to keep Walmart from opening a supercenter in Suburban Plaza just north of Decatur has filed a new appeal in the case.

A DeKalb Superior Court Judge dismissed Good Growth DeKalb’s challenge to the building permit in October, saying the 149,000 square foot project can move forward. The new appeal could delay a store until 2015.
