Grayson plans to build “ampavillion” at city park

Plans are underway for a new park “ampavillion” in Grayson Community Park. The structure is named because of a center stage with pavilions on each side. The city’s plans are still in the early stages of approval and may grow to accommodate a green room and storage area.

Grayson leaders hope the side pavilion design will be useful when hosting performing arts events, like the Grayson Blues and Brews for staging. The pavilion areas will be curtained and will function as “stage left” and “stage right.”
