The Grayson City Council on Monday appointed Councilman Trent Arnold to serve as the next mayor pro-tem, succeeding Councilwoman Laurie Anderson. In addition, Burton May, Richard Parker and Michael Sutton were reappointed to the Code Enforcement Board. To fill a spot vacated by Leonard Smith, the city council added Debbie Fain to this same board.

David Cloud, John West and Dan Sosebee were reappointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Mark Wirt, Dan Sosebee and Mary Jeannette Weed will serve new terms on the Board of Appeals.
