A program that helps job seekers in Cobb has received funds totally $2.8 million to help people find jobs and employment services. Cobb County’s Board of Commissioners received the funds from the Georgia Department of Economic Development Workforce Division on behalf of its local workforce investment board CobbWorks. The grants will be used to help 226 adult workers, 249 dislocated workers and up to 500 in a rapid response program.
