The Clorox Company Foundation has awarded Alpharetta a $7,000 gift to go toward a civic project at a local park that would be enjoyed by patrons.

City officials said Monday the money will be used to help pay for a new pavilion at Wills Park. That project has an estimated cost of $21,790. Clorox put no time limit on the use of the funds.
