The Class of 2020’s academic rankings for Henry County public schools will not be negatively impacted by recent events in response to the COVID-19 situation such as the shutdown of school facilities and the transition by all students to an online learning platform.

According to a briefing by superintendent Dr. Mary Elizabeth Davis at the April 20 meeting of the Board of Education, the valedictorian and salutatorian at every Henry County public school, along with overall class rankings, will be determined using the cumulative weighted numeric average earned at the end of the first semester in December of 2019.
