Lawrenceville police officers want to meet you — and give you a free slice of pizza.

The Lawrenceville Police Department will hold its annual Pizza with Police event on Thursday, May 11. Officers will be at the Lawrenceville Lawn to answer questions and give you an up-close look at police equipment.

Guests can tour the department’s mobile command center while munching on a free slice. The event is designed to help citizens get more familiar with their local law enforcement officials.

The event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., but food is limited, so get there while supplies last.
