Anthony Tricoli, the president of Georgia Perimeter College, is scheduled to participate in public forums Thursday and Friday as one of four finalists to become the new leader of Hillsborough Community College in Tampa.

Tricoli will meet with staff, students and others in the community, according to the college’s Web site. He’s also scheduled to meet with the university cabinet and union representatives.

Tricoli has been at Georgia Perimeter since 2006. It is the state’s largest two-year college with about 25,000 students and campuses throughout the metro Atlanta area.

Hillsborough Community College enrolls about 45,000 students. The current president retires in June.
