The Georgia Department of Transportation is set to open all four ramps at Exit 14 off I-985 on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 3 in Flowery Branch. The new interchange is expected to reduce travel times, increase safety for drivers, and enhance economic development in and around the area.
The new interchange will be dedicated as ‘The Atlanta Falcons Training Facility Interchange’ at a ceremony scheduled for earlier that morning.
The exit’s overpass bridge will remain closed to traffic until it’s completion, which is to be announced at a later date.
Drivers should be on the lookout for new signage and to drive alert while traveling the I-985 corridor in the upcoming weeks.
