Goddard schools collecting backpacks

Goddard school students will be collecting backpacks for the poor this week. The private school students will be collecting backpacks through Friday, July 27 at all 27 metro-Atlanta Kroger Supermarkets as part of the "Back-2-School Backpack Drive."

"So many of our children come from homes where they never have to think about where their stuff comes from," said Chris Dibbling-West, a spokesperson for the school. "This is a great chance to teach our children to give of themselves."
