Food rescue seeks volunteers

Volunteers with Second Helpings Atlanta rescue food from a network of food donors, transport it to partner agencies and return home in 90 minutes or less. Many food pickups and deliveries (routes) occur in the early morning during the week. However, new routes are continually added, many of which occur on Saturdays and Sundays.

Volunteers typically pick up and deliver food once a month. Second Helpings Atlanta also needs volunteers for event planning, accounting, grant writing, law, fundraising, social media, PR, etc.
