Docents needed for show house event
Advocates for Children is calling for volunteers with a love of design and a few hours to spare to ensure the success of the Magnolia Designer Show House. Volunteers are needed for registration and ticket sales on-site, as well as answering questions, directing guests and welcoming them into the home.

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays Oct. 19-Nov. 13.

Help with vision and hearing services
Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation is the only statewide provider of vision and hearing services. The organization needs volunteers to meet the demand for eyeglasses requests for mission trips. Help is needed to get the eyeglasses ready. Volunteer opportunities in the Recycling Center include, but are not limited to: washing and sorting eyeglasses and reading eyeglass prescriptions.
