Brookhaven seeks help for storm drain marking

The city of Brookhave has planned its first Storm Drain Marker Program. According to organizers, this community service project is appropriate for all ages and group sizes, flexible enough to fit into a busy schedule, requires minimal time and is easy to do. Volunteers will simply glue plastic discs to storm drains reminding residents “Only Rain Down The Storm Drain.”

When: 9:45 a.m. to noon Saturday

Where: Meet at Brookhaven City Hall,    to receive instructions and materials.

Singing groups needed for caroling

The winter holidays will be here before we know it, so the City of Roswell is beginning its search for singing groups for the annual Caroling on Canton event. Singing groups of all sizes, ages and abilities are needed to participate — from civic groups and schools, to religious organizations and local businesses.

When: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6
