If you saw a bunch of fit people standing around at The Avenue East Cobb yesterday, there’s a reason.

Cobb County's first Kale Me Crazy opened Tuesday. The eatery geared toward cleaner eating was announced in February.

The concept comes from Roi Shlomo, the same man behind the popular Atlanta frozen yogurt franchise Yogli Mogli.

This is the ninth location, said Liad Shlomo, who works for the chain. The store is owned by the same person who opened the Sandy Springs location.

Shlomo said the new store at 4475 Roswell Road, served more than 500 customers and had a line out the door for four hours.

Just like the other stores, the menu at the East Cobb location will feature healthy juices, smoothies, wraps and salads.
