Dick's Sporting Goods is hosting a three-day opening celebration in Tucker, featuring appearances from former Atlanta outfielder Brian Jordan and Atlanta United player Greg Garza.

Beginning Friday at 8 a.m., the event runs through Sunday at the store in the new Tucker Meridian development, which is located at the intersection of Lavista Road and Northlake Parkway.

Garza will be there Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by Jordan from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The first 100 people in line Friday get a free T-shirt, the company said. The first 100 people on Saturday get a “mystery” gift card with a value from $5 to $500, with only one person getting the highest value.

The card giveaway will be repeated Sunday, when the opening event begins at 9 a.m. The opening event on Friday and Saturday begin at 8 a.m.
